What is the area of the square in simplified form, Mathematics

Assignment Help:

If the side of a square can be expressed as a2b3, what is the area of the square in simplified form?

Since the formula for the area of a square is A = s2, then by substituting A = (a2b3)2. Multiply the outer exponent through each exponent within the parentheses:  a2×2b3×2. Simplify; a4b6.
