Q. What is Supraventricular Arrhythmias?

Such arrhythmia tend to be reduced by the vagal withdrawal accompanying the onset of exercise.This and wandering pacemakers tend to recur early during the recovery period and have no special significance. The incidence of any supraventricular arrhythmia during exercise testing varies from 4 per cent to 18 per cent according to how the series was selected. McHenry reported 5 per cent in normal volunteers and 40 per cent in those with CAD. The incidence also increases with age.
