What is splicing?
Splicing:
Two optical fibers utilized for communication are joined with a process termed as Splicing. This must be done very carefully that is the splicing process does not introduce additional losses. Two methods in splicing are there:
In the first process, the two ends of the fibers are fused. Within the second method, the two ends are aligned and bonded together by using an adhesive.
Explain about the dispersion in optical fibres. Dispersion in optical fibres: Into optical fibers, temporal distribution of optical pulses because of dispersion will lead to

What does held nucleons together in a nucleus? Nuclear force. It is the nuclear force which fasten the nucleons together and is responsible for the stability of nucleus.
Write a mathematical expression for refractive index of the material of a prism in terms of its angle. Is the mathematical expression true for all positions of the prism?
impure and pure spectrum
Explain power of a lens. What is the principle of an optical fibre? What is a thin prism? Describe angular dispersion between two colours for a prism.
The Law of Reflection While a ray of light strikes a plane mirror and the light ray reflects off the mirror. Reflection includes a change within direction of the light ray. The
