What is splicing?
Splicing:
Two optical fibers utilized for communication are joined with a process termed as Splicing. This must be done very carefully that is the splicing process does not introduce additional losses. Two methods in splicing are there:
In the first process, the two ends of the fibers are fused. Within the second method, the two ends are aligned and bonded together by using an adhesive.
Sliding versus Static Friction: Friction force is the force exert by a surface as an object moves crosswise it or makes an effort to move across it. Two types of friction force

Q. What is an optical fibre and dispersion? Write the expression for angle of deviation.
Q. What is cut-off or stopping potential? The minimum negative (retarding) potential specified to the anode for which the photo electric current becomes zero is called the cut
What is waveguide dispersion in optical fibres? Waveguide dispersion (Δτ w ): Waveguide dispersion occurs because of the dependence onto the velocity of propagation of every
Two thin convex lenses of focal lengths 0.15m and 0.2m are separated by a distance of 0.6m. Determine the effective focal length of the combination.
A 10 kilogram mass rests on a horizontal frictionless surface. A horizontal force of 5 Newtons is applied to the mass. After the force has been applied for 1 second, the
