What is prototyping approaches in software process?

i. Evolutionary prototyping - In this approach of system development, the initial prototype is prepared and it is then refined through several stages to last stage.

ii. Throw-away prototyping - Using this approach a rough practical execution of the system is produced. The required problems can be identified from this execution. It is then leftover. System is then developed with some different engineering idea.
