Q. What is Precipitation?

Precipitation includes rain, snow and hail. The maximum, average, and storm volumes will have an impact on the size and positioning of facilities to collect and treat run-off from process and storage areas. Where applicable, plant layout including roadway design shall take into account the safe removal and stockpiling of snow in an operating facility.
