What is MDRTB

MDRTB - For patients with known exposure to multi-drug resistant TB (MDRTB) and a high risk of developing active TB, there are no data-based recommendations. Regimens with two drugs to which the organism is susceptible (e.g., pyrazinamide plus ethambutol or a fluo- roquinolone for 9 to 12 months) have been used, but may be poorly tolerated.
