Marketing audit:

The marketing audit is, within some respects, where the raw material for the strategic control. Its function is to periodically ensure that the marketing plan emphasizes the countries strengths within ways which are compatible along with shifting market sentiments, fashions, preferences, current events, priorities and needs of relevant market players. It helps to classify marketing opportunities and new or potential markets.
