Insect killing jar
Secure a wide-mouth glass jar with a screw top or single which closes very tightly. Place a wad of cotton in the bottom and cover it with a round piece of cardboard or blotting paper which has various holes punched by it. When the jar is used saturate the cotton with carbon tetra-chloride (Carbona) or some available insecticide having DDT. Place the piece of cardboard over the cotton and then put the insect in the jar . Close the jar tightly and leave unless the insect has been killed.
