What is function point?

Function point is the size of measure it is also used to calculate approximately the software cost.

Function point (FP)=Function Count (FC) * Value adjustment factor (VAF).

Function Count (FC)=  xij wij

Where x - Number of elements

w - Weight

Value adjustment factor (VAF)=0.65 + 0.01 Σ fi
