Potential free contacts (also known as "dry contacts") are simply contacts which are physically operated with the main device, but not electrically connected to it. For example a motor contactor often has auxiliary contacts that are operated by the main coil and open and close at the similar time as the main contacts but are not used for control of the motor starter. If they are connected to an outside circuit to shows the status of the starter without being powered by the motor supply they would be considered potential free contacts. These type also called Signal-Contacts.
In case of relays and switches if the common/pole is connected internally to a given potential like a 110V phase etc., the contact is not POTENTIAL FREE but if both the common and the normal open (and at time also the normally closed) contacts are presented to the user for connecting in his system as he pleases, the contact is said to be "potential-free"

Q. Explain why does heated air expand? Answer:- Temperature is habitually defined as the average thermal energy of the substance at hand. Therefore the hotter a substance
The force is in Newton The buoyant (upward) force exerted by water on a submerged object is given by the formula F= ?Vg, where ? is the density of water (1.0 x 10 3 kg/m 3 ),

A pure semiconductor is known as intrinsic semiconductor. It has thermally formed current carriers (i) They have four electrons in the outer part of orbit of atom and atoms are
RANGE OF PROJECTILE: "It is the horizontal distance covered by the projectile from the point of projection to the point where it returns to its level of projection".
why the reflective index of cladding is lower then in core of a fiber optic?
Graphs of current against voltage for two resistors P and Q are shown in Figure. Determine the value of every resistor.
Explain irreversible process A process which takes the system to the non equilibrium state is known as irreversible process. *It can't be retraced in the reverse direction.
