Consider the organisation which employs you or where you study. What is the culture of this organisation? Why does this have that exacting culture? What organisational culture would provide you most satisfaction as a worker? Where might you determine such an employer? Specified your preferred organisational culture, what would this mean for you when an employee in terms of your obligations and responsibilities?
Two models for analysing culture have been defined in this section. Recognize your organisation’s culture using such models. Work along with others when you can. The culture may be the outcome of deliberate selection or may have occurred by accident. The important question is whether or not this shifts the organisation forwards in an effectual way towards the accomplishment of its goals.
To recognize a culture which suits you, first work out what you want by your work and by your employer. Do you want freedom to get on along with things, the opportunity to be creative, and perform you have an urge to creates changes all of the time. You perform? After that an Apollo culture may not appropriate you. The is no intrinsically ‘good’ or ‘bad’ culture just dissimilar ones, consequently choosing one which suits you is a personal choice which doesn’t come along with value judgements attached.
