What is critical path in job operation of a project?

Critical Path:

This is that sequence of activities that decide the total project duration. This Path is formed through critical activities. It consumes maximum resources. This is the longest path and consumes maximum time. This path has Zero float. The expected completion dates can’t be met, when even one critical activity is delayed. Whether a dummy activity joining two critical activities is also termed as a critical activity. This critical path reveals such activities which should be manipulated through some means or the other, when the scheduled completion dates are to be met.
