Combination therapy - Use of combination therapy for treatment of immunosuppressed patients with invasive aspergillosis (IA), which has a high morbidity and mortality despite current treatments, is controversial. Theoretically, combining two drugs with dissimilar mechanisms of action may be more effective than either one alone.
