What is cold backup, Operating System

Assignment Help:

Cold Backup: It is copying the three groups of files when the object is shut down. This is a straight file copy, generally from the storage disk directly to tape. You must end the instance to guarantee a consistent copy of that instance. If a cold backup is operated, the only option active in the event of data file loss is restoring all the files from the latest backup. All work activated on the database since the last backup is removed.
