Q. What is Coating Thickness?
The dry thickness of the coating shall be checked by using a "micro test" magnetic gauge or approved equal which has been properly calibrated, at least once per eight hour shift, to the approximate thickness of the coating. A minimum of five (5) measurements, randomly distributed along the length of each joint of pipe, shall be made with notation of the minimum, maximum and predominant thickness measured.
Q. Source of Materials? The user may restrict sources of fabrication materials. If there is a restriction, the prospective manufacturers must be informed at the time of biddin
