What is Assertions
Introduction
At every point in a program, there are generally constraints on the computational state that should hold for program to be correct. For instance, if a certain variable is supposed to record a count of how many changes have been made to a file, this variable must never be negative. It helps human readers to know about these constraints. Moreover, if a program checks these constraints as it executes, it may find errors almost as soon as they take place. For both these reasons, it's advisable to record constraints about program state in assertions.
Example: (Single rotation into AVL tree, while a new node is inserted into the AVL tree (LL Rotation)) Figure: LL Rotation The rectangles marked A, B & C are trees
The below formula is used to calculate n: n = (x * x)/ (1 - x). Value x = 0 is used to stop the algorithm. Calculation is repeated using values of x until value x = 0 is input. The
You are given an undirected graph G = (V, E) in which the edge weights are highly restricted. In particular, each edge has a positive integer weight of either {1,2,...,W}, where W
Overlapping or Intersecting A polygon overlaps or intersects the current background if any of its sides cuts the edges of the viewport as depicted at the top right corner of th
Complexity is the rate at which the needed storage or consumed time rise as a function of the problem size. The absolute growth based on the machine utilized to execute the program
As we have seen, as the traversal mechanisms were intrinsically recursive, the implementation was also easy through a recursive procedure. Though, in the case of a non-recursive me
The best algorithm to solve a given problem is one that requires less space in memory and takes less time to complete its execution. But in practice it is not always possible to
What is a first-in-first-out data structure ? Write algorithms to perform the following operations on it – create, insertion, deletion, for testing overflow and empty conditions.
