Wing Travels Agency is a well-established travel agency with various offices in many parts of the island, mainly on coastal areas, and having more than 100 employees spread across these offices. Some of the services provided to its customers are flight and hotel room bookings as well as transport arrangements for airport transfer and inbound tours. The agency relies very much on marketing campaign and road shows both locally and abroad to keep a fair share of the market and to survive the competition. Moreover operating cost is rising tremendously in terms of telephone bills, since the agents communicate among themselves and with customers through phones and faxes only.
To survive this fierce competition Wing Travels is planning to make optimum use of modern tools and techniques. Bearing in mind that no business can survive without the Internet today, because the Internet brings the business to the people, it is with no doubt that Wing Travels will have to become an internet-enabled enterprise.
