What is a linear array?
An array is a way to reference a series of memory locations using the similar name. Every memory location is shown by an array element. An array element is same to one variable except it is identified by an index value instead of a name. An index value is a number used to recognize an array element. The square bracket tells the computer that the value inside the square bracket is an index.

Depth-first traversal A depth-first traversal of a tree visit a node and then recursively visits the subtrees of that node. Likewise, depth-first traversal of a graph visits
How divide and conquer technique can be applied to binary trees? As the binary tree definition itself separates a binary tree into two smaller structures of the similar type,
Q. Assume that we have separated n elements in to m sorted lists. Explain how to generate a single sorted list of all n elements in time O (n log m )?
Q. How do we represent a max-heap sequentially? Explain by taking a valid example. Ans: A max heap is also called as a descending heap, of size n is an almos
Ans: A procedure to reverse the singly linked list: reverse(struct node **st) { struct node *p, *q, *r; p = *st; q = NULL; while(p != NULL) { r =q;
Linked list representations contain great advantages of flexibility on the contiguous representation of data structures. However, they contain few disadvantages also. Data structur

Draw a B-tree of order 3 for the following sequence of keys: 2,4,9,8,7,6,3,1,5,10.and delete 8 and 10
What do you understand by tree traversal? The algorithm walks by the tree data structure and performs some computation at everynode in the tree. This process of walking by the
