What is a light Guide?
While a number of single fibers are grouped together to create a larger diameter light conductor the resulting structure is termed as a light guide. Occasionally large diameter solid core fibers are also known light guide.
Light guides can come in several forms and finished, clad along with a number of various polymers rigid tubes, articulated anaconda kind flexible metal coverings and heat shrink tubes.
Potential free contacts (also known as "dry contacts") are simply contacts which are physically operated with the main device, but not electrically connected to it. For example a m
How is coiled, twisted or roped fibers terminated? Generally terms the same techniques as with PMMA apply, because this optics are no more that 0,75mm diameter PMMA fibers bunc
Millikan oil drop experiment (R.A. Millikan) A popular experiment designed to compute the electronic charge. Drops of oil were carried past a consistent electric field among c
An alternating voltage v=250sin800t volts is applied across a series circuit having a 30 resistor and 50µF capacitor. Calculate (a) the circuit impedance, (b) the current ?
Coulomb; C (after C. de Coulomb, 1736-1806) The derived SI unit of electric charge, described as the amount of charge transferred through a current of 1 A within a period of 1
12 joule of work has to be completed against an existing electric field to take a charge of 0.01 C from A and B. How much is the potential difference VB-VA.
a) Sketch an IV characteristic of a photodiode, showing how the curve shifts as a result of the illumination intensity incident on the device being varied. b) Indicate on the c
Cermets are a hybrid mixture of ceramic and metal. These are made by screening a mixture of glass and metal oxide on to a ceramic substrate. It is then fired at a temperature high
CPH has long wavelength, how much it is? Answer; according relation;. If we know its mass and speed, then we can talk about CPH wavelength
It is the energy possessed by a body because of the interactive forces inside the object. This may be defined as the work done in assembling all the particles of a body in a exact
