What is a light Guide?
While a number of single fibers are grouped together to create a larger diameter light conductor the resulting structure is termed as a light guide. Occasionally large diameter solid core fibers are also known light guide.
Light guides can come in several forms and finished, clad along with a number of various polymers rigid tubes, articulated anaconda kind flexible metal coverings and heat shrink tubes.
Weiss constant: A characteristic constant based on the material, utilized in calculating the susceptibility of paramagnetic materials.
For the series-parallel arrangement shown in Figure, find (a) The supply current, (b) The current flowing by each resistor and (c) the p.d. across each resistor
Q. State the law of conservation of electric charges? The entirety charge in an isolated system always remains constant. For instance Uranium ( 92 U 238 ) can decay by emittin
For the circuit shown in Figure, find, using the superposition theorem, (a) The current flowing in and the p.d. across the resistor, (b) The current in the 8V battery and
Davisson-Germer experiment (C.J. Davisson, L.H. Germer; 1927) An experiment which conclusively confirmed the wave nature of electrons; diffraction patterns were observed throu
When the two junctions of a thermo couple are maintained at dissimilar temperatures, then a light begins going through the loop called as thermo electric current.
Classification of conducting materials: Electrical resistivity of a conducting material or conductor ranges from 10 -8 to 10 -3 ohm-m. A good conducting material should have
Which colour has got the minimum angle of deviation?
1.5 kg of Oxygen (N 2 ) and 0.15 kg of Helium (He 2 ) are separated by a partition in a vessel. The Nitrogen is at 5 bar and 90 o C and the Helium at 1 bar and 20 o C. The part
What are the disadvantages of fibers optics? This must be borne in mind that the real nature of the conductor, in lighting systems, shows only one of the components responsible
