What does vacuoles do?
It is an organelle, located in the cell's cytoplasm, which is the site of protein synthesis.
It is really a protein having of 2 parts. These 2 "parts" clamp down on strands of messenger RNA in the cytoplasm and "translate" the information from the mRNA into proteins. They do this by aligning up the correct amino acids, as coded for by the RNA, into their proper sequence and sticking them together. This precise string of amino acids then folds into a protein.
