What do you mean by consumer behavior? Explain the factors influencing consumer behavior?

Factors Influencing Consumer Choice: Consumer choice or decision behaviour refers to the selection, purchase, and consumption of products for their satisfaction. Consumer behaviour takes into account the environmental influences and marketing stimuli influencing the decision making process. The main factors influencing consumer choice are as listed below. i. Social factor - Social factor influences the consumers' buying behaviours. Eating with many people is a social activity, so who we are eating with has an impact on what items we choose) Initiator - The person who suggests an idea for the first time for buying food products or services.
