Assignment Help:

What can justify the use of fiber optic?

In the huge majority of tasks, using traditional implies, the amount of light used is far in excess to the quantity really required. Most light goes to illuminate areas which do not require light at all. Along with fiber optics, we can distribute minute quantities of light particularly where required, not possible feat with conventional lighting since light sources are too large.

The distinct possibilities to place the lamp in easy reach, when the light is distributed in zones with complicated access is other advantage of fiber optics. The major reasons for the use of fiber optics in lighting are control, safety, miniaturization, ease of maintenance and cost.
