What are the types of wholesalers in primary participants of distribution channels?

Types of wholesalers in primary participants of distribution channels are as given here: the merchant wholesaler and the manufacturers’ agents. The former are illustrated by the fact which they take title to the goods they distribute. Agents of Manufacturer buy and sell onto behalf of the manufacturer and nowhere within the exchange process obtain title to goods. Merchant wholesalers might be of several kinds for instance commission merchants, buying agents cash, selling agent and carry wholesalers and so on.
