What are the types of smart cards utilized in e-commerce?

Usually, there are two types of smart cards as:

Memory smart cards, that can be viewed by minuscule removable read/ write disks along with optional security; as well as processor cards that can be viewed by miniature computers along with an input-output port.

Java card is a smart card along with the potential to set the generally smart card standard, but Java Card is comprised of standard classes and APIs which let Java applets run directly on a standard ISO 7816 compliant card. Java Cards allow secure and chip-independent execution of various applications.
