What are the Touch Panels
In case of touch panels, displayed objects or screen positions is allowed to be selected with the touch of a finger. A typical application of touch panels is for the selection of processing options that are represented with graphical icons. Some systems, such as the plasma panels, are designed with touch screens. Other systems can be adapted for touch input by fitting a transparent device with a touch-sensing mechanism over the video monitor screen. Touch input can be recorded using optical, electrical, or acoustical methods.
