What are the steps in organisation design?
Steps comprised in Organisation Design are as illustrated below:
a. Understand and formulate the goals and things of the organisation and the nature of business to be approved.
b. Find out the functions necessary to acquire the goals of the organisation.
c. Related functions, for illustrations: Inventory Control, Quality Control and Production Control can be grouped mutually.
d. Examine every the functions and outline the different positions to be filled to take up such functions.
e. Prepare job duties, responsibilities and descriptions of each position.
f. Fill up every the positions by recruiting appropriate persons either through outside or through within, from upgrading the existing personnel after providing them extensive suitable training.
