The next day, he persuaded his other colleagues to stop work since proper safety equipment had still not been provided to employees. The work was stopped for two days entailing significant losses to the company as it had failed to meet the deadline for an important contract. Mr Careful was summarily dismissed. He is now suing Perfect Welders Ltd for unjustified dismissal. He has been in their continuous employment for the last twenty years and has been a model employee.
