What are the Preservation of Insulin

Regular insulin is stable for 18 months at 23.80 C and Lente insulin are stable for 24 months at this temperature. Although refrigeration is not necessary but extremes of temperature must be avoided. Injecting cold insulin can make sometimes injection more painful. Discard any bottle of insulin that (a) has passed the expiry date printed on the label or (b) contains particles.
