What are the methods of training for supervisors?

Therefore, training of supervisors must be plan through keeping the above-mentioned points into mind. Given are the ways of training for supervisors:

a. Induction: this means introducing or orienting a new worker to the organization. The orientation and induction training aims to find over the settling within period as rapidly as possible and along with the minimum of emotional upsets being experienced through the new worker.

b. Lecture Method: Classroom training depends completely on lectures like the medium of instruction. As lectures can be delivered to like several supervisors as can be accommodated within the room. It is delivered through experts through in or outside the industry. It is a very good medium of training, here no reliable books or several other material is accessible.

c. Written Material: This method is utilized to provide to the trainees the significant information into permanent through for instant or future use, for example, Standard practice instructions on how to perform different jobs.

d. Conference: A conference brings together several people who tend to train themselves as well as learn together. A conference assists pooling experiences and ideas of various persons and puts them open for discussions to arrive at a feasible solution for the problem at hand. A conference can uproot concepts, modify attitudes and expand analytical and questioning capability. The conference must guide, be active, lead, stimulate, interpret and draw out the opinions and ideas of the group engaged within the discussion.

e. Training in the industry: This is fundamentally a supervisory training programme. Single of the parts of the programme is the job instruction-training programme that is concerned, along with how much to teach. Such courses can be held onto the concern’s premises along with little disruption or disturbances of work. Such programme imparts training into Job relation, Job instruction and Job safety as well as Job methods.
