The major natural plant hormones and their respective functions are the following- Auxins that are the best known as natural auxin that is IAA, indoleacetic acid) - their function is to promote plant growth, cellular differentiation and distension. Gibberellins- have act similar to auxins (distension and growth), stimulate flowering and fruit formation and activate seed germination. Cytokinins- improve cellular division rate and together with auxins help growth and tissue differentiation, slow the plant aging.
