1. Chooses the relative values of various jobs in an organization.

2. Assist to formulate a suitable and uniform wage structure.

3. Illustrate the responsibility and authority connected along with each job.

4. Gives a basis for recruitment, training, selection, transfer and promotion of the workers.

5. Enhances employer and employees relationships.

6. It adds to job satisfaction.

7. There minimizes labour turnover,
