Q. What are the flat bones and the long bones?

The main bones of the body may be classified as long or flat bones there are bones not classified into these categories. Instance of flat bones are the hipbones, the ribs, the skull, the scapulae and the sternum. Instance of long bones are the humerus, the femur, the radius, the ulna, the tibia and the fibula.
