Ethical behaviour is a necessity to build trust and if a company is able to maintain this trust-relationship with the internal and external stakeholders, then we can call that company an ethical company.

(a) What are the basic tenets of ethical behaviour

(b) Modern governance advocates that corporations should act ethically. Provide five reasons why businesses should act ethically.

The first step in developing a strong investor communications platform is for directors to re-examine their definition of investors. ‘If directors had established strong shareholder relationships before the crises occurred, shareholders could have become part of the solution rather than disruptive bystanders'.

(c)Show  steps that Directors can and should undertake to open lines of communication with shareholders.

(d) Discuss the main characteristics of a good shareholder letter.
