What are the basic different air-fuel mixture, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Describe carburetion. What are the basic different air-fuel mixture on which an engine can be operated ? Write a short note on sterling cycle.

In an engine working on inlet pressure, Diesel cycle and temperature are 1 bar and 17oc respectively. Pressure at the end of adiabatic compression is 35 bar. The ratio of expansion i.e. after constant pressure heat - addition is 5. Determine the heat addition, efficiency of the cycle and heat rejection. Consider λ = 1.4, Cp = 1.004 KJ/KgK and Cv = 0.717 KJ/KgK.
