What are gibberellins? Where are they produced?

Gibberellins are plant hormones that stimulate plant growth, flowering and fruit formation (also parthenocarpy) and the germination of seeds. There are more than 70 types of gibberellins. Gibberellins are made in the apical buds and in young leaves.
