What are blood enzymes, Biology

Assignment Help:

What are blood enzymes?

Enzymes are proteins that take out chemical reactions (as opposed to structural enzymes). Most of the detectable enzymes in the blood come from the several tissues and organs of the body. Abnormal levels might be reflecting problems with a particular organ.

The most common blood enzymes test is for liver enzymes. When the cells of the liver are injured, enzymes can leak out and detected in the blood. Another common test calculates enzymes from heart damage, like as from a heart attack.
