Updating Tables in SQL
The topic of updating by describing the assignment operator, ":=" in Tutorial D. SQL uses a different syntax for assignment, using the key word SET and "=". It does, however, have counterparts of Tutorial D's INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operators, which we can deal with here quite briefly by giving translations to SQL.
