How is understanding of human behavior important in the human resources?

Understanding of Human Behavior: It is significant for any one dealing along with human resources.

This has also been the subject of huge number of researches.

Research within human behaviour into industry intends at discovering:

1. Causes of behaviour, or

2. The factors that are correlated along with behaviour even if they are not causative.

Individuals are different from one other in dozen ways. Dissimilarities are present as regards physical appearance, education, capabilities and aptitude etc. Individuals are different and thus, in industry, they are paid at various rates. One learns along with little effort and practice, while, another is not capable to pick up so quick. The differences within individuals reflect into their performance and behaviour at work.

Individual differences into behaviour, known and measured, assist much in right selection, imparting and placement exact training to the individuals. Action upon an exact behaviour of an individual to an exact situation is seldom spontaneous; this does have a cause behind.
