Unbalanced forces cause accelerations.
In this case, the unbalanced force is directed opposite the book's motion and will cause it to slow down. To verify if the forces acting upon an object are balanced or unbalanced, an analysis must be conducted to verify what forces are acting upon the object and in what direction. If two individual forces are of equivalent magnitude and opposite direction, the forces are balanced. An object is said to be acted upon by an unbalanced force when there is an individual force that is not being balanced by a force of euqivalent magnitude and in the opposite direction
AVERAGE VELOCITY: The ratio of the total displacement to the total time taken by the body is known as average velocity and represented by V ?av.
#questionyour dog is running around the grass in your back yard. He undergoes successive displacements 3.50 m south, 8.20 m northeast, and 15.0 m west. What is the resultant displa

Explain the Electric Forces and Fields This can be thought of in terms of an electric field, E, similar to the gravitational field discussed earlier [Fg = m g( r ) where at the
The electric field and electric potential at any point because of a point charge kept in air is 20 NC -1 and 10 JC -1 respectively. Compute the magnitude of this charge.
Constant Positive Velocity Observe in which the object below moves along with a constant velocity within the positive direction. The dot diagram shows in which each consecutive
3 scenarios: You have an object such as a jar, and you submerge it under water to 50m depth. (Every 10m down increases pressure by 1 bar, thus the pressure is 5 bar). Scenario 1:
