TYPES OF MENTAL DISORDER -
1. Psychosis

1. PSYCHOSIS -
It effects mental capacity & effective response of a person.
The patient is insane (mad).
Some common types of psychosis are -
(i) Alcohol psychosis - due to alcohol.
(ii) Senile psychosis - due to old age.
(iii) Toxic psychosis - due to toxic chemicals.
(iv) Traumatic psychosis - due to physical injury or shock.
2. NEUROSIS -
It is mild disorder.
It arises due to environment.
It involves behaviour disorder.
3. PERSONALITY & CHARACTER DISORDERS -
These include epilepsy, mental retardation, childhood behavioral problems.
