(b) DAB and DVB use stream and packet modes whereas MBMS uses broadcast and multicast modes. Describe succinctly these 4 different modes.

(c) (i) Describe the rationale behind introducing broadcasting and multicasting within the UMTS architecture.

(ii) Illustrate with the help of an architectural diagram the MB-SC component in the UMTS architecture.

(d) (i) How could location based services and broadcast systems work together?

(ii) Give a real life example of such an application.
