Two byte Instructions
In these instruction the first byte specifies the operations code and the second byte specifies the operand. To identify two byte instructions one must observe followings things.
The instruction have 8 bit data as their operand and have I n their mnemonics for example MVI ADI, SUI etc are two byte instructions ( but not LXI as it has 16 bit data as its operand).
The instructions have 8 bit port address as their operand e g IN and OUT instructions.
Since each memory locations may store only byte hence two byte instructions require two memory locations to store them in memory.
Suppose instruction MVI, A, 8 bit data is to be stored at memory location 2000 H. It will be stored as shown below.
LKI Load Register pair Immediate Instruction This instruction is used to copy or load 16 bit data specified in the instruction directly into the register pair. The i
Calibration and Testing of Energy Meters and Meter Laboratory Energy meters form a vital instrument of revenue realization for the distribution utilities. Based on the meter r
Q. Evaluate complex power in power system? The complex power ¯S in a single-phase systemis the complex sum of the real (P) and reactive (Q) power, expressed as follows:
A 3 phase, 6 pole induction motor is rated at 400hz, 150v, 10h.p., 3% slip at rated power output. The windage and friction loss is 200w at rated speed. With the motor operating at
Explain Overhead Lines and Transformers? Overhead lines absorb reactive power when fully loaded. A line with a current I A, a line reactance of X L ?/phase absorbs I 2 X L V
Given the block diagram of a synchronous counter shown in Figure (a), draw the timing diagram for the first input pulses, with Q 1 , Q 2 , and Q 3 initially at 0.
What is Microprocessor? Give the power supply & clock frequency of 8085. A microprocessor is a multipurpose, programmable logic device that reads binary instructions from a sto
Parallel Operation of Interconnected Synchronous Generators In order to assure continuity of the power supplywithin prescribed limits of frequency and voltage at all the load p
Q. Introduction to power systems? Thomas A. Edison's work in 1878 on the electric light led to the concept of a centrally located power station with distributed electric power
