Is the transpiration the only way through which leaves lose water?

The Plants don't only lose water as vapor as by transpiration. Leaves also lose liquid water by a phenomenon called as gutation. The Gutation takes place through structures called as hydathodes similar to stomata. The Gutation mainly takes place when transpiration is difficult due to high air humidity or when the plant is placed in a watery soil.
