Third Generation ( 1964- 1982 )
Invention of technology of integrated circuits created computers of third generation. In several logical gates are fabricated on a single piece of silicon. Size of computers was further reduced computing power increased cost reduced in this generation technology of changed from SSI (small scale integration less than 12 logical gates on a single chip) to MSI ( medium scale integration more than 100 gates on a single chip) and then to LSI ( large scale integration more than 100 gates on a single chip. IBM 360 PDP -8 , PDP 11, CRAY -1, VAX were the name of few computer of third generation.

Q. Consider a series-carry synchronous counter with T flip-flops shown in Figure in which the AND gates carry forward the transitions of the flip-flops, thereby improving the speed
Q. Principle of Three-phase synchronous machines? In fact, with very few exceptions, three-phase synchronous machines are most commonly used for power generation. In general, t

No-load and blocked-rotor tests are conducted on a three-phase,wye-connected inductionmotor with the following results. The line-to-line voltage, line current, and total input powe
Explain the ASCII Character Set? Most programming languages have a means of defining a character as a numeric code and, conversely, converting the code back to the character. ASC
