Accurate identification of the infecting organism is the key to successful treatment.
Antibiotics as per the sensitivity study in high doses IV is given. Usually, a cocktail of two or three antibiotics given intravenously. Generally, two or three broad spectrum antibiotics in higher concentration given for 4-6 weeks. The purpose is to destroy the bacteria within the vegetation e.g. Inj.
