The Stem Cells are undifferentiated mesenchymal cells that can proliferate and differentiate into many other types of cells.These are Clonogenic cells capable of:

1- Self renewal; Self-replication or proliferation property for prolonged period.
2-Multi-lineage differentiation; differentiate into other types of cells.
3- Dividing potentiality
