The Logical DBMS Architecture
Database Management Systems are very difficult, sophisticated software applications that give reliable management of huge amounts of data. To explain general database concepts and the structure and capabilities of a DBMS better, the structural design of a typical database management system should be studied.
There are two dissimilar ways to look at the architecture of a DBMS: the physical DBMS architecture and the logical DBMS architecture. The physical architecture is deals with the software components that create up a DBMS while the logical architecture deals with the way data is stored and presented to users.

What is DataWarehousing? Subject-oriented, meaning that the data in the database is organized so that all the data elements relating to the similar real-world event or object
State about the Tables- DBMS Data is stored in columns and rows (much like a spreadsheet -main difference is how data is organised). Every row in a table is known as a record
real life situations where database management system are most suitable
Spanned and unspanned organisation? Spanned and unspanned organization: If records are not permited to cross block boundaries then the organisation is called unspanned record
What is Primary key? Primary Key - Primary key is one of the candidate keys which uniquely identifies each row in the relation.
Define Outer join Outer join - If there are any type of values in the one table that do not have corresponding value(s) in the other, in an equi-join which will not be selected
Explain what is DDL? DDL - Data Definition Language: statements used to define the database structure or schema. Some examples: CREATE - to create objects in the database ALT
