The Logical DBMS Architecture
Database Management Systems are very difficult, sophisticated software applications that give reliable management of huge amounts of data. To explain general database concepts and the structure and capabilities of a DBMS better, the structural design of a typical database management system should be studied.
There are two dissimilar ways to look at the architecture of a DBMS: the physical DBMS architecture and the logical DBMS architecture.
