Techniques and resources

Different techniques and resources were used in different areas of the problem during the course of the project.

The most important of them was the use of simulating package called proteus. The testing of a program and a circuit in physical was a tedious task. So proteus was for testing by simulating the design in it. It is really easier to redraw or modify a circuit and it has all the components required for the circuit construction.

If the circuit was soldered on a veroboard, it would have been time consuming and prone to faults. So the team thought of using the PCB as it was much easier. The circuit designs of the remote and the receiver were printed on a PCB and it helped save a lot of time as the whole circuit was soldered in a matter of minutes.
