(a) Suspected Illegal, Unreported & Unregulated (IUU) Vessels calling into Mauritius Port are subject to a series of investigations, prior to authorizing unloading of their catch.

List down in a chronological order the steps taken by the Ministry as per existing fisheries regulations to accede to or deny unloading.

(b) A State shall authorize the use of vessels flying its flag for fishing on the high seas only where it is able to exercise effectively its responsibilities in respect of such vessels under all International Conventions relating to high seas fishing. What are the measures that should be taken by a State in respect of its vessels flying its flags and fishing on the high seas?
