Prevention: the various ways to prevent campylobacteriosis are:

  • Wash hands before preparing foods.
  • Wash hands immediately after handling raw poultry or other meat.
  • Proper cooking of chicken to internal temperature of 70ºC.
  • Drink pasteurized milk and chlorinated water.
  • Wash hands after handling pet faeces or visiting zoos.
